ColdXela Homebrewed Craft Beer Festival

The SoCal Cerveceros (SCC) celebrate their four year anniversary by hosting a homebrew beer f­­­estival supporting local award-winning East LA nonprofit, The Gumball Foundation.

COLDXELA 2019 will feature 50+ homebrewers from all over Los Angeles County pouring over a dozen styles of beer. Styles include an array of craft beer fan favorites from IPA, Hazy IPA, Hefeweizen, Lager, to Belgian Saisons, Witbier and Golden Stout to name just a few. For those who enjoy drinking cider, they have you covered too. Various Latin American food dishes including vegan options will pair nicely with the beers being offered.

COLDXELA 2019 will feature live performances from some of LA’s most exciting up and coming Latin bands. From Whittier, CA is the indie Soul Reggae/Ska group, Scarlett And The Fever. Serenading you with tropical island vibes is Tropi Corillo with their take on afrotaino rhythms of the past. Boyle Heights native and fast rising hip hop star, Mescalito will be sure to get the party started. Phoenix,AZ band, Fayuca, come with their high energetic Rock-Latin-Reggae shows. Making a special LA stop while on tour, beer fans are in for a treat. And taking this already over the top festival to the next level is none other than LA underground party fav's - Subsuelo crew! Get ready for that Global Bass, Cumbia, Funk, Hip Hop that pairs nicely with whatever you have in your taster cup.

Staying true to their mission statement of supporting local Latino owned businesses and giving back to charitable non-profits, the SoCal Cerveceros have partnered with the Gumball Foundation; a 501(c)3 nonprofit with an emphasis on providing middle/high school students with hands on entrepreneurial training and college prep programs, paid summer internships and zero percent loans to local entrepreneurs. The Gumball Foundation helps students start and run their own micro ventures as incentives to save for and attend four year institutions. Students are provided mentorship and guidance from high school until they start a professional job.
