Founder & CEO, GINA LEVY

The creation of Kindra is a natural outgrowth of Gina's filmmaking career as well as inspiration from her twelve trips to Burning Man.  As a filmmaker, Gina has been driven to empower people and organizations to find their voices and tell their stories, whether through fiction, documentaries or commercials. Her films have won numerous awards and screened at many festivals including Sundance. She won a Silver Telly for her commercial work and has created video journalism content for numerous outlets including The New York Times, AJ+, Now This and Fusion Media. Gina’s short documentary film about diversity at Burning Man, “In Pursuit of Happiness: Black at Burning Man,” was recently featured in the The New York Times. Previously, Gina worked in business-to-business technology marketing where she was VP Marketing at a Kleiner Perkins-backed start-up that is now part of Manhattan Associates and CMO at a start-up that is now part of Brightcove. Gina is a graduate of Harvard University.

Lead Developer, Drew McAuliffe

A full stack software engineer and systems architect with 20 years industry experience, Drew has built entertainment mobile apps for companies including Disney, Warner Brothers and the Academy of Motion Pictures. Previously, Drew was CTO at the movie distribution platform start-up MoPix.


Marketing and User Happiness Agent, Alison Kawa

Alison has done online marketing for companies of all sizes: Google, SAP, and major television networks including HBO, CBS, NBC, ABC, and Discovery Channel, as well as startups and mom-and-pop shops. She was raised in the Midwest and is downright personable. Her BFA in sculpture trained her to be a creative problem-solver, and she often dreams up innovative ways to market Kindra and connect with users. You can thank her for the branded condoms.

The Kindra app was initially designed by Austin who has over 10 years UX design experience. Previously Austin was Global Director, UX Design at Billabong,  Creative Director at Tixr and Co-Founder of August App, a media sharing app for creative professionals. Austin has worked with product, design & user experience teams from small start-ups to large agencies & brands including Oakley, Google, Ray-Ban, Wunderman, WeAreEnvoy, and Vizio.

Icon and UI Designer, Ben Biondo

Ben has his own graphic design agency, Circa Noon, where his focus is on branding, brand identities, infographics, art direction and branded experiences. Ben has a BFA in Graphics Design from Kendall College of Art and Design.
